Never did I ever think that it would be like this. How short-sighted I've been, how foolish, how blind! And for what? A chance at... redemption? Guilt?
All of these years, and I still have not learned that redemption does not come for all of us. It won't come for me.
It was one mistake! One mistake sixteen years old, and still I pay. Still I will continue to pay. There is no redemption.
Nor does there need be. They say to have grievance is to have purpose in life. So then, must I finally air my grievances. Again. You, Dumbledore, dealt with them in your own way. Now so shall The Dark Lord. And so shall I.

Foolish...
Even in death they continues to sculpt history, continue to sculpt...
The hell with it.
...
Where is Pettigrew? How much does he know?
I suppose it is only a matter of time, now.
I must be prepared... |

Please answer me this: What happens when an anti-cheating spell collides with an amateurish indestructible charm?
Are you stumped? Well for your answer, I am having one of my students send you your assignment. Or at least the burnt husk that remains.
While you're in an answering mood, answer this: why would you feel the need to place both a tracking charm and an indestructible charm to your homework? This is quite remarkable; not many students choose to do so. Were you...expecting something to happen to it?
Ah well. A moot point, isn't it? Do it again. And 5 Points from Ravenclaw for wasting my time.. |

This...THIS is your excuse for homework? A 7th Year assignment? Do you think work like this could even get you through the door of a pub?!
What do you think this is? A daycare!?
Disgusting!
I should just toss the lot of you out of my class! Only a few of you remotely deserve the privilege of being taught by an expert such as myself!
Barring that, all 7th Year Potions students save:
Padma Patil Hermione Granger Increase Ashman Theodore Nott Anthony Goldstein
DO IT AGAIN!
And this goes for younger students who are thinking of taking 7th Year Potions, when I assign a holiday assignment, I expect it done and done right! |

No, when classes resume, classes have resumed. Any errancy, tardiness, foolishness and other such behavior will not be tolerated.
I shouldn't have to issue these warnings year after year. It seems like basic common sense to even the dimmest mountain troll and yet...hear it is. |

In addition to Miss Granger's statement, let me add that any harassment that extends from this incident on Slytherins or Gryffindors will not be tolerated.
Classes will continue as scheduled until further notice.

| | simmering anger | ] | Headmistress McGonagall has given me the opportunity to..assess the situation and assign punishments as needed, since it was an incident involving a potion incident. Of course, this was after I begged her to let me at them.
5 Points from Ravenclaw due to Anthony Goldstein causing a disruption during the meal. I would have expected better of you than that. Did you honestly think whoever was responsible would be stupid enough to ingest their own drug and leave them vulnerable? On second thought, make that 10 Points.
10 Points from Ravenclaw due to the language used by Sylvie Fawcett during the commotion, as well as a weeks detention. You will see me and Mr. Filch tonight.
5 Points from Ravenclaw due to the language used by Padma Patil. A prefect, nonetheless, but of course, you've long since proven yourself unworthy of that position. You will accompany Miss Fawcett tonight only.
5 Points from Hufflepuff due to the language used by Isobel Moon and for using the commotion to ask a personal question. Yes, Miss Moon, somebody heard you, and they let me know immediately. Unfortunately for you, they had no reason or opportunity to lie.
A full investigation is underway. Though the elves were apparently fooled, I have submitted to the Headmistress that they be punished for their involvement.
Mr. Potter. Mr. Weasley. Miss Granger. In my office now |

Bloody children.
This is simply a reminder that the Forbidden Forest remains off-limits even to this day. One would think a forest known as being Forbidden would put that idea in your heads, but of course I give you lot too much credit.
Zhukov, I require your assistance tonight, if you are so inclined.
Another reminder: Ignore Peeves. If I find that any of you have egged him on, I will deal with you personally. |
